Fans of the classic horror and suspense comics of yesteryear will be happy to hear about the upcoming publication of
FIENDISH FABLES, a new anthology releasing from Brain Scan Studios in March 2007. Look for it in the January issue of Diamond Comic Distributors’ Previews catalog.
The purpose with FIENDISH FABLES was to assemble a collection of creepy tales inspired by the classic horror comics that defined the genre. This anthology includes seven tales by EnemyOne writer John Schlim, plus two stories by talented guest writers, all brought to life by an amazing group of artists. Prepare yourself for marauding zombie kids, a bloodthirsty vampire horse, vengeance-seeking storybook creatures, a wild west monster, the debut of Goth Ghost Girl, a ghastly gallery, and much more! The book features an amazing pulp-inspired cover by David Wachter.
